Where is the club?

The Conservative Club, Main Ridge West, Boston, Lincolnshire PE21 6QQ. As you walk in just keep going straight ahead to the Falklands Suite.

How much does it cost?

The first session is free and after that it’s £2.50 per session for members, £3.50 for non-members and £1 for spectators. Membership is £10/year. We charge this to cover the cost of renting the space and providing things like playing boards, scenery, trophies, travel costs to tournaments and annual social gatherings.

What facilities are there?

There are toilets and a bar available for use. The site is fully wheelchair accessible.

Who’s in charge?

Tom Pickwell is the current Chairman, Tom Gosling second in command and Will Young is our treasurer.

What games do you play?

If you can play it on a table, we play it! Warhammer 40k/Fantasy, Blood Bowl, Dreadball, Bolt Action, X-Wing Miniatures and Kings of War are all very popular but people also arrange other board and card games, there are no strict rules on what you can play.

How many tables are there?

The suite has about a dozen tables for us to use plus some fold out tables that we can use when it’s busy. Tables aren’t booked and some games require more tables than others. It’s quite rare for there to be no tables available to play on.

What does the club provide?

We provide boards and scenery that can be used for many tabletop war games.
